Butler Shoe Repair has been around since 1910. Previously located on the corner of Perry and Magnum Street in downtown Durham, NC, the business has a long reputation of being a family run establishment. The first owner, Senior Butler owned the shop for 30 years, before passing the shop to his son and mother. They operated the business for the next 40+ years. After working as an apprentice with the Butler family, Sin Kil Yu took over the shop in 1985 and has worked hard to maintain it's strong reputation. Butler Shoe Repair and Alteration holds a lot of history and remains one of the best places to go for shoe repair in the area. Many local clients turn to Sin Kil's expertise for their shoes, accessories, and alteration. We are pleased to announce our new location on Guess Road, where we will celebrate our grand RE-opening on May 15, 2015.
